This time, Dr. Małgorzata Korzeniowska from the Laboratory of Protein Engineering at MMRI had the pleasure of delivering a lecture to the students of the University of the Third Age in Otwock, near Warsaw. The talk, titled “From Cosmetics to Medicine: Non-Obvious Uses of Fish” highlighted the various applications of fish, including fish skin as a source of modern dressings that accelerate the healing of wounds and burns. The presentation also included information about our favorite research model – zebrafish, which we use to test the safety of our enzybiotics.
